Autumn Centrepiece Workshop 24th September 2024 10.30am - 12.30pm

Join Katie in her cutting garden to choose your own flowers to make a beautiful and naturally arranged centrepiece.

The workshop will start with a walk around the cutting beds where Katie will talk about the plants and how she grows. Then, weather and conditions permitting, we hope that you will be able to choose and cut some of your own flowers that will be used in your arrangement.

Depending on the conditions and our supply, we may supplement flowers from some of the larger British growers, so some flowers may be ready cut and conditioned for you to use.

Once you have picked your flowers, you will sit back with a cup of coffee whilst your flowers condition in water, and Katie will give a demonstration of creating the centrepiece arrangement.

It’s then your turn to get creative, with Katie on hand to help and guide. Each centrepiece will be unique as you will all have chosen different materials. Katie will guide you through choosing your flowers and foliages and how to place them, helping you with conditioning techniques and then the arranging process.

All materials will be provided. Please wear clothes suitable for the weather including a jacket as the workshop is much cooler than outside, and footwear suitable for walking around the garden.

Numbers will be limited to 6 attendees so that we all have plenty of space to work. The flower studio is unheated so please wear clothes and footwear appropriate for the weather.
