April on our farm was a vibrant celebration of spring. Glorious tulips stole the show, painting the beds with rich, joyful colour, for once arriving just at the perfect point for our Easter weddings. Their lovely flowers filled our bouquets and brightened every arrangement. Take a moment to admire these beauties!!  The tulips I grow on the farm are completely different from the sort you might have bought in the supermarket! Think big heads, often slightly scented and always beautiful colours! It's always a joy when these beauties come into bloom in the spring, and it's their moment in the spotlight right now!  I am doing mixed colour bunches for the next few weeks, whilst stocks last!  Bunches of 10 mixed colour tulips... some massive singles, some doubles, some parrots! I am absolutely delighted to say that we have a new FLOWER FAIRY to deliver our lovely bouquets each Friday. I have never thought to ask for help before, but when I was telling some visitors about all the work there was to do in the garden in the autumn, they said they would come and help! It sparked an idea and before I knew it, I had a group of wonderful helpers armed with garden forks, helping to dig up my dahlias.  It has been the most brilliant two mornings, full of chat, sharing advice, laughter and making friends.
