Garden Volunteers!

I have never thought to ask for help before, but when I was telling some visitors about all the work there was to do in the garden in the autumn, they said they would come and help! It sparked an idea and before I knew it, I had a group of wonderful helpers armed with garden forks, helping to dig up my dahlias.
It has been the most brilliant two mornings, full of chat, sharing advice, laughter and making friends. I often feel rather disheartened at this time of year as there's a lot to do, and this year particularly I am rather short of help (two of my regular helpers are off on extended leave), however I feel completely buoyed up by this cheerful and energetic group of new friends who have come to my rescue, and made this big job a lot easier, and a lot more fun!
If you would ever like to help out on the Flower Farm on a voluntary basis do get in touch. I can promise fun, laughter, plenty of cake and friendship in return!
