Dried Flower Hoop Workshop 20th March 2025 10am - 12.30pm
Join Katie for a morning workshop creating a beautiful and long lasting flower hoop using dried flowers.
We are excited to announce our upcoming dried flower workshop where participants can let their creativity bloom making a unique and long lasting dried flower hoop. Join our talented florist, Katie, as she guides you through the step-by-step process of creating a dried flower hoop.
We spend the summer months drying our surplus stems so we can make beautiful things as the growing season comes to an end. You will select from an assortment of delicate dried blooms such as roses, dahlias, grasses, lavender and more and create something beautiful to cherish for years to come.
The workshop will start at 10am with a quick walk around the cutting patch where, although we won’t be cutting fresh flowers, Katie will talk about the plants and how she grows. We will then head back to the studio to get creative! The workshop will last 2.5 hours, and should be finished by 12.30pm.
No previous experience is required. Please bring an apron to protect your clothes, and footwear suitable for walking around the garden.
TUTOR : Katie spent many years working at a senior level in high-end fashion before leaving London. She moved to Dorset to grow her family and flowers and retrain in floristry. She now lives on a farm near Dorchester, tending her flowers and her children, providing beautifully memorable wedding displays and running floral workshops.
