April on our farm was a vibrant celebration of spring. Glorious tulips stole the show, painting the beds with rich, joyful colour, for once arriving just at the perfect point for our Easter weddings. Their lovely flowers filled our bouquets and brightened every arrangement. I have never thought to ask for help before, but when I was telling some visitors about all the work there was to do in the garden in the autumn, they said they would come and help!
